Upffront.com is very pleased to introduce the MORF Block from G-Yacht Design - the lightweight, flexible, strong, all-purpose modular block system.
The use of soft shackles and lash thimbles is becoming accepted across the full spectrum of sailing from GP racing to weekend cruising because of their proven simplicity and flexibility.
The MORF Block has been specifically created to build on that principle. It is a two-part, UV stabilised ABS plastic cheek which allows you to create your own blocks using off-the-shelf lash thimbles, soft shackles or Dyneema® lashings.
There are four sizes (1-4) in the range with recommended Safe Working Loads (SWL) from 400 - 2500 kg depending on the thimble or soft shackle used. The cheeks have been designed to work in conjunction with a number of leading lash thimble manufacturers e.g. Tylaska, Antal, Wichard, LOOP® etc.
Available to be purchased online at upffront.com as individual cheek pairs, bags of x5 pairs or as completed blocks, the MORF Block makes the perfect, lightweight, cost effective block and essential element of any onboard spares / toolkit.
