LED Revolution

In the early 2000s, LED (Light Emitting Diode) lights became more advanced and accessible for many applications. Lopolight knew how to take advantage of this trend and has been supplying LED navigation lights to sailors around the world ever since. Over 200,000 LED lights have now been produced in the certified Lopolight factory in Denmark.

LEDs are the future of lighting, and Lopolight has for this reason relaunched their lights in early 2019 with new LEDs, new optics and new electronics, but with the same proven design. In doing so, they have retained all the good features of the first generation.

To cover not only the European Wheelmark, but also the recently published US Coast Guard guidelines for LED navigation lights, external testing for the lights has been expanded.
