    It’s been a busy week at METS, the biggest, and undoubtedly best trade marine show in the world. Our mission here has been to catch up with our existing manufacturers and suppliers and find their interesting developments and to connect with new manufacturers so we can bring more cool products to Upffront customers.

    Ino-ending - The end of the line?

    When it comes to the Ino-block range, the manufacturer firmly believes that simplicity is key, and we tend to agree with them.

    Based on the same concept as the innovative Ino-block, the Ino-ending block has been stripped of many of the shortcomings of a traditional block. No central metal axle that could warp or crack, no pins or shackles that could shatter, no ball bearings or other complex moving parts. Instead the block has been reduced to three simple pieces.

    In light of the newly updated Ino-Rope product range, we ask you to cast your mind back to 2013: French duo – experienced offshore Mini Transat 650 sailor Thibault Reinhart and professional rigger Julien Barnet – burst onto the sailing scene, attempting to upturn the sailing industry with a range of high tech, soft loop blocks.

    We are constantly reporting on the latest innovations in the marine industry which offer weight savings whilst, at the same time, increasing safety factors. The result: lighter, faster, safer and more exciting sailing.
